Mercy House exits to

Make disciples through works of Compassion

Who we are

Mercy House exists as a ministry of Mercy Nairobi to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God and the good of all people.

The desire and vision for Mercy House was birthed through an awareness of the plight of women and their children on the streets of Nairobi. During research about Nairobi, we came across an article from BBC about women whose children were being stolen from them during the night and trafficked for black market adoption, sex-trafficking, etc.

What we do

We are a transition program for women and their children who are homeless. We desire to take women from the streets who have nowhere else to go and equip them with life skills and job training to enable them to then live independently off the streets and maintain a safe household.

We Care

Showing the love of Christ. Building relationships.

We Serve

Meeting critical needs. Providing resources and opportunities.

We Transform

Salvation. Sustainable, independent living.

Our Impact

We have numbers that push us to give in our best and make sure that we break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.
